NCAA.COM "Every week throughout the 2020-21 season, the NCAA.com Starting Five will highlight the top women's basketball players in the country. Here are the standouts from the past week:"

It's a nice story ... and the women they chose deserve the attagirl.

This must be a joke. ONO has better records than her.

Is reading comprehension a problem?

Every week throughout the 2020-21 season, the NCAA.com Starting Five will highlight the top women's basketball players in the country.

It's 5 players/week that they are highlighting.
Exactly. I'm not sure how to find prior weeks, but I did find one via Google from December - that week they highlighted Guirantes from Rutgers, and I never heard of the rest, though one was from Baylor. Also one each from Middle Tennessee, Pacific and one of the Dakota schools.

I think it is cool that players that are good - but not great in most cases - are getting highlighted.

One last time - highlighting 5 players from around the country each week. Not the best. How do we know that UConn players were not highlighted in a different week. For the 2 weeks I saw there were 10 different teams. They are not saying they are the best players, just 5 players of interest. They certainly are not the best teams.

It is supposed to grow the game, I believe, to give people human interest from teams they don't otherwise think of.

Take a look at her Kaizen when Wake Forest is on television again and tell me if she reminds you of Nika Muhl by her looks and her toughness. She is a good player.

Wake Forest slander.....

Not a joke. Conti is a good PG who might just lead the Deacons to their first NCAA appearance since 1988. She deserves some recognition. I had something else to say... but ain't trying to get admonished this early in the week.
