Those are the same thing 😊Eh I’ll call it a win win regardless for us. Either ISU loses and we move up to #2 or Kansas wins which is better for our resume
Yea but we didn’t win there by enough. Remember?Massive game on multiple fronts. KU running them out of the Phog.
Heads, I win. Tails, you lose.Eh I’ll call it a win win regardless for us. Either ISU loses and we move up to #2 or Kansas wins which is better for our resume
We honestly haven't had a ton of aesthetically pleasing wins this year - these are mainly grinders. This is not 2024, that much I know. The Picasso that was is basically that team is more like grafitti this year.KU doing us a solid beating #2 Iowa State, makes our ugly win against SH smell all so sweet!
'24 had two losses at this point in the season, one of which was an incredibly ugly game we lost to Seton Hall by 15 in this same building. Also grinded out an ugly win against St. John's two days before Christmas in a game I was at. The '23 team had already forgotten how to play basketball at this point in the season and that continued for close to a month. We honestly haven't had a ton of aesthetically pleasing wins this year - these are mainly grinders. Both are art though. We honestly haven't had a ton of aesthetically pleasing wins this year - these are mainly grinders. This is not 2024, that much I know. The Picasso that was is basically that team is more like grafitti this year.
The 23 team looked like cirque de soleil at points early. The 24 team was blossoming. This team is not winning any beauty pageants - feels more like a MSU, but better. The '23 team beat one ranked team at this point and had 3 losses. The '26 team is 17-1 with wins over 5 ranked teams and a winnable loss to #1 without two starters. The 23 team looked like cirque de soleil at points early. The 24 team was blossoming. This isn't about effectiveness, it's about aesthetics man. Do you just love arguing? The '23 team beat one ranked team at this point and had 3 losses. The '26 team is 17-1 with wins over 5 ranked teams and a winnable loss to #1 without two starters.
The revisionist history is incredible
Aesthetics in wins against bad teams and in losses? This isn't about effectiveness, it's about aesthetics man. Do you just love arguing?
I appreciate the winning first and foremost. No one is going to call this UConn team a beautiful watch though. They are 24th in the OKP. Perhaps they start clicking in a way that looks more appealing offensively soon. Hasn't happened yet. They have won with a grinding defense.
