, because I’m not sure Drummond and Oriakhi have the lateral speed to stay in front of White on the perimeter, where Smith and Daniels don’t have the size. "​

Lets put Drummond on him ALL day. White seems a lot like Kevin Jones, they both are about 6'8 260ish. ​

All week, everyone on the team and coaching staff needs to get into Drummond's head and stress defense. You man up on Thursday and Saturday on the defensive end and we have more than a shot.​

Drummond's defense is the key to Uconn making a tourney run. If he does well against White, he will have Anthony Davis next. Then possibly Cody Zeller and Perry Jones if all goes according to plan.

Lol, Drummond is a freak of nature. Of course he has the "lateral speed" to defend White.

I'm not concerned about this guy beating us. I'm much more concerned with the point guard (11) and the off shooter going 8 for 16 from 3 for the day.

They won't beat us inside - no way, no how.

We are incredibly young still, ergo the inconsistancy. Take away about 10 dumb plays/ game we were in most games. I know it ain't going to happen but if Lamb and Drummond stay we be next year's KY, scary good.

That said, with this team you don't know who's going to show and play for the 40 minutes. We play a full game and we can beat anyone. Lapses, and we are prone to them, and most anyone can beat us. We've got enough in the tank to beat IA State though.

I am more concerned about the perimeter match-ups. The have good height at the guard position and like to shoot the three. Lamb is going to going to have to play some D. I'll give White his 13/9 and hope they shoot at or under 30% from 3 pt range. We have to play D for the full possession.
