It looks like I will be spending the bulk of the upcoming season across the pond in various places. Do any of you have any experience getting a streaming service to work internationally that will allow us to watch the games live this season? If so, which service and any special measures which need to be considered to make it happen? Thank you!

If you plan on watching on a laptop or a tablet, a VPN may permit you to watch on a streaming service wherever you may be. In effect, the VPN can make it appear to the streaming service as if you are watching from home.

Hulu Live can somehow detect and block certain VPNs. If you subscribe to Hulu Live, do some research.
No idea about other US streaming services that will provide broadcast rights to most UConn games, like YouTube TV.

Two years ago when I was in Spain I tried using NordVPN, and Youtubetv would not let me stream. Then I switched to an app called FakeGPS. That worked perfectly.

It may be a matter of choosing which node to connect from. A VPN service can have more or fewer nodes around the world. For example, ProtonVPN has hundreds of access points located in Europe the U.S. and Asia.

This discussion of streaming technology is well beyond my pay grade. But I completely applaud the effort of SCHuskiedad to insure that he can watch the Huskies live while in Europe. Many of those games won’t start until after midnight in Europe. That’s dedication!!!

Maybe SCHuskiedad will be working the night shift. 😄

And to add to what Bone Dog said, if you do a Google search "watching US television channels when in Europe" you will get a breakdown of the steps for connecting with a VPN as well as some other options all from a knowledgeable AI.
