dawnstaley added,

Allisha Gray @Graytness_10
@dawnstaley you don't suppose to be taking selfies in the weight room...cell phones don't belong in there

Had to delete Alisha's emoji and some of Dawn's https://twitter.com/dawnstaley

Dawn's twitter behavior is unusual for a head coach of a major program. The line between head coach and player is very blurry at times. It seems to work for her but no male coach could behave that way.

I found the twitter exchange interesting because of the negative emoji's contained in each of them.

My interpretation of the exchange:

Alisha a player who plays for Dawn is calling her out for using a cell phone/selfie in weight room where she thinks they should not be used. Tweet contained a negative emoji. Don't know if its a So Carolina rules, or not. However, it makes sense not to use video/photo options in weight and dressing rooms, unless its a photo op and everybody is aware of it.

Dawn responds to Alisha with 4 negative emoji's. I also thought the word "fine" was a typo and the word should have been "find" IMHO Find makes more sense.

Reading into the exchange which I could easily be misinterpreting. Alisha is unhappy Dawn used cell phone in the weight room, instead of talking to her or other coaches, she tweets about it. Dawn couldn't locate Alisha and tweets a response to Alisha with negative emoji's. I'm sure this is a minor issue or no issue at all, but my initial reaction both should not have had the twitter exchange, if in fact Alisha was unhappy about the use of the cell phone/selfie.

Without the 4 Negative Emoji's contained in Dawn's reply, I probably don't even notice her reply as I mostly glance over most of her tweets. :) I don't follow Alisha.

Probably reading way too much into it. Dawn is pretty sarcastic on Twitter and from what I've noticed, Alisha Gray is pretty much a team jokester.. She's definitely going to inherit that team clown role once Mitchell graduates.

There probably is a rule about phones in the weight room but I highly doubt the Twitter exchange was serious.... I don't think the conversation would've happened via Twitter if it was. Dawn is a believer in handling team issues in-house and wouldn't have publicly responded if it was serious.
