I'm a huge McBride fan - such a good player who gets about 1/50th of the credit that her overrated teammate, Skylar, does.

McBride is a great example of why following college athletics is so much fun. She came as a highly ranked player, but not quite in that top-tier mold (HG had her around #20) ... but she has worked her way into becoming one of the elite players in the country.

She's also more proof that an effective mid-range jumper is the best shot in basketball. Paul Pierce has turned himself into a Hall of Famer by mastering that shot.

I have the utmost respect for McBride's game and I hope ND enjoys their past success against UConn, because that's it folks. Their luck is all used up. I can feel it. From now on UConn = Alabama.
