I would just like to point out that they have Donovan Mitchell ranked above Jalen Adams. Anyone who saw Brewster could see that Jalen was the leader of the team. You don't end up leader by being an inferior player

Well Jalen was easily their best player performance wise as well.

He was #3 and the #2 non-freshman. All you need to know as to why we missed the NCAA.

Combined offense and defense I would say #2. Hamilton missed about 100 rotations on defense and shot under 40% from the field. He was by far the most valuable defensive player with the amount of shots he altered and blocked. Hence the conference defensive player of the year.

His DPOY award or the results of last year can't really be taken into account... he was named co-captain before the season began. But the point is that your captain is not automatically chosen by who the best player is.
