Interesting the competition for minutes at UConn never affected their friendship.
On being reunited with former UConn teammate Gabby Williams: “Gabby’s like a sister to me. She is my sister. That was one of the main things I was really excited about when I heard I was going to Chicago was ‘I get to be back with Gabby again,’ ... but also just spending time with her. Because, once we graduated, we didn’t really see each other that much, just scheduling and all that stuff. And so it’s been awesome. We spent a bunch of time together in Chicago when we were working out before we left for the bubble and even in the bubble we spent a lot of time together.”
