Inter-Squad Scrimmage set for First Night

Don't know about any other students, but I will be in front of the doors to Gampel at 4, waiting to get a front row seat to what will definitely be a great spectacle.
 
I like the idea, but I'm sure there will be more naysayers than positives. That is a shame!

Both squads have been supportive of one another for years. I'm sure they are excited about this! These kids should have fun even as they "dedicate themselves to making the fans happy"!!! Last statement is sarcastic for those who are internet challenged to understand my weird humor.

Intersquad means they will mix up the teams, right? That would be entertaining. For a minute there I thought this was going to be battle of the sexes, but this is not Bobby Riggs and Billy Jean.

If it's the men against the women, it's a horrible idea.

If they split up the teams so men and women are on both sides, it is a fun thing to do.

It's unclear what they intend.

I agree. The 3 point contest and dunk contest got very stale. Glad they made the decision to do this.
 
No Tyler on the poster... I wonder when they reinstate him. I know he had been working out individually with Glenn Miller.
 
I think they should still have the dunk contest. I will never forget the one from 2012. It was an absolutely amazing contest with Boat and Drummond that led to a very underachieving season.

I doubt it. She couldn't do it in the dunk contest at first night last year. That said her play down the stretch last year was amazing bordering on dominant. Far more important in my opinion.

I'm curious to see who guards whom.

Not that this means anything, but Devin Robinson was thrilled to hang out with Skyler Diggins and take pictures with her. I'm sure I know why.

But the point is, he is at least somewhat aware of women's college bball. This event might be interesting for him at that level.

Let's get some alum to show up. I know NBA camp has begun, but take a break, for UConn's sake.

I will be there filming the whole event for Next Best Basketball. I will post it on the Boneyard but subscribe to make sure you don't miss anything
 
I'm not too disappointed in no dunk contest. I'm sure there will be plenty of awesome dunks in this game.
