Very solid game by the Aces. Plum/Wilson/McBride did an excellent job. They may just be able to sneak into the playoffs over the Wings.

Plum has scored 20 in 3 straight games. I wish she didn't get off to such slow starts during the WNBA season because she finishes off strong. Did the same last year.

I would not worry. Last year, as a rookie coming in from a tough NCAA tournament, it is to be expected and this year, trying to figure out how to deal with a new coach and blending in with Aja Wilson took some time. She has become a very strong player already and I do not expect any regressions , only progressions. From my perspective, she is very very motivated to be a top player.

For Plum, it’s probably a good thing she didn’t have any competition from Jefferson early in the season, or else she may not have been given the opportunity to round into form as she is now.

Plum had a nice game with 20 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists, shooting 9-14. She also had only 1 turnover. Kelsey is one of the top 3-pont shooters in the league.

Moriah also had a good game. Strangely, she had no assists (one excellent pass should have been an assist but her teammate missed from point blank range), but she scored 11 points on 4-8 shooting in 20 minutes and added 2 steals. I don't look at her as a back-up PG in the long run. She's way too good for that.
