Sounds about right. The last regular season loss was over 4 years ago to Stanford, and that was in OT I believe, so you have to go back further than that.

The last regular season loss was on Nov. 17, 2014, by 88-86 in OT to Stanford.

The last non-OT loss was on March 12, 2013, by 61-59 in the Big East Tournament Finals.

The last regular season loss was on March 4, 2013, by 96-87 in triple OT against Notre Dame.

The last regular season non-OT loss was on February 18, 2013, by 76-70 to #1 Baylor.

Despite those 3 losses in February-March 2013, we got the last laugh by winning the NCAA championship.

The last consecutive losses came back in March 1993. That’s nearly 26 years ago.

Does anyone know who is second on the consecutive losses?

I believe the 201 number is correct. Six tournament wins in 2013. 188 wins the next five years. And this year's wins. Yep, looks like UConn is on the decline.

I have yet to see an update on Geno's record in 1 vs 2 games. Can anybody supply one? I'm guessing 20-3.

If they allowed ties in basketball, we'd be 201-0-3 over that period, an incredible feat.

But unfortunately, the fact is we're also 0-8 or so in our OT games this decade and the stigma of "can't pull out the close win" has certainly been valid lately.

To be fair, there have been games that were sort of close where we pulled away late, like yesterday, which a key ability unto itself. But the ability to make plays in the final minute in those 1-possession enormous-leverage situations has been lacking. We'll see if the addition of a take-over-the-game talent like Christyn Williams restores it.

I was just trying to look for that - it is an amazing record (and a record number of those games played as well.) And as I recall it is about 90% winning when ranked #1 and an even more impressive 75% ish win record when coming in as the #2 ranked team. The first game for Uconn #1 v #2 was the TN game in 1995 at Gampel where TN was ranked #1 and Uconn #2, and the second was I believe in the NCAAs that year when Uconn was #1 and TN was #2.

I want to see them start a winning streak in OT games.

Active streak? I'm not sure, but I do recall that Tennessee lost 3 games in a row not too long ago.

This seems like a half-empty vs. half-full argument. If a team almost never loses,it seems totally logical that it’s only losses would come in overtime.

There's some logic to this, but on the flip side, a team that wins as convincingly as we do shouldn't struggle this badly in close/OT games.

Or you could say that Uconn unlike every other team out there almost never play poorly, but when they do it still takes an opponent more than 40 minutes to score more points.

It really is an amazing record for length of time in years for not losing in regulation.
