I don't think many of us expected 15 commits by Aug 1st.

This speaks highly of the staff's ability to get HS player buy in of a vision. Because none of these commits have any film of how staff actually performs come game time.

I do believe getting a majority of commits out of way before the season was intentional.

Compartmentalize coaches time. During season it needs to be on player film and game prep. Before/after season recruiting.
