I mentioned in the Signing Day thread a while ago but hearing him speak at the event at The Rent was excellent. Very articulate, very prepared (had hand written notes), knew when to talk shop and when to crack a joke. He just gave off a very "future head coach" vibe.

Does any of that speak to his game day strategy? Nope. But it just felt encouraging nonetheless. I'm pretty optimistic.

While agree we need a good showing in football, it's going to be very difficult this year, more than last year. We're basically replacing Syracuse and Pitt, two lower tier FB programs in the BE with UCF, SMU, and UH. UH and Memphis won't be too challenging but remember, Rutgers and Louisville are still going to be here in next year. Running the table in this conference is no walk in the park. Especially as we have to replace a HUGE chunk of our defense.

However, I hope that Wesit can get our offense to score enough points to offset any defensive deficiencies we may have.
