Morgan Tuck: “T is the hardest worker, I feel, on the team,” She works extremely hard even though she knows she’s not going to get into the game until late. Her and Briana Pulido work hard. For her to come in and she gets a steal and a charge, she’s out there making plays."
"We got excited. Our coaches give them goals as well. Shea gave them a goal to take a charge. She played 3-4 minutes and got the charge. It speaks a lot to her and her work ethic. We’re happy for everyone that does something well, especially someone that didn’t get a scholarship and wasn’t recruited. To come out and take charges at the end when we’re up as much as we are, that says she’s a hard worker.”
Geno Auriemma: “Tierney got more done in four minutes than some of our guys did in twice as long, Auriemma said. “The kid wants to play. She’s a competitor. The kid is a helluva competitor and takes tremendous pride in herself. Anytime a kid like that can get herself into the stat sheet like that … Our guys really respect how hard she works and they want her to have success.”
