PS. The AAC will be requiring all cards to be designed by sender. Please include return address so conf can bill you for cost of opening envelope.

And now perfectly position for the inevitable consolidation with CUSA. What do we give it, two years?

Those 2 schools wouldn't be added to the Big East for non-football sports. They are in an unenviable position. However, both schools seem to be having plenty of success on the gridiron in the AAC. They don't have the cache to go independent and pull off what our AD is doing.

Temple and Cincinnati will be watching this closely to see how the independence movement works out. They do have the advantage of having nearby NFL stadiums to utilize for marquee match ups. They also are located in prime recruiting areas. Temple could return to the A-10 conference and should be able to schedule as an independent. Cincinnati would have a more difficult time finding a location for their Olympic sports if the Big East did not accept them. I wonder if Xavier would try to block them from entry? They would be able to schedule as a football independent fairly easy considering their access to the Cincinnati NFL Stadium.
