I don't envy the AD. The thing that bothers me the most is how fast the fans have fallen off the bandwagon. It's got to be frightening to UConn's Board and Administration. Bad for the budget but bad also because they're losing the spotlight the program once had. When I lived in the Northeast many of us were loyal fans during the bad Perno years and were overjoyed when the team started winning and became the national power we hoped we would be one day.
