Decided to make a non-exhaustive list to help me keep track of the transfer landscape.

The "impact" designation is obviously subjective, but roughly limited to players who I'm aware were significant contributors on their former team or otherwise were highly rated coming out of high school. (I'm sure to have missed some; suggestions welcome.)

Most recent announcements in bold.
Players in italics are known to be immediately eligible.

Possibly. What were her stats at her former school?

Ha well, would they have been an at-large team if they'd lost in their conference tournament?

Ha, just messin' with ya. I added her.

Those are the players I surely missed. Probably some double-digit scorers or rebounders from mid- or low-majors who I've never heard of, sadly.

You never can tell how these mid-major players will perform on a bigger stage. One example.... not sure if you had heard of Grace Hunter while she was at UNC-C.... I hadnt.

How many of these transfers are definitely gone.... which ones might return? I know Stephenson from Wake...and Rivers might end up returning to their schools. Moore and Watts are gone for sure.

How good is Chasity Patterson? Thought she was a highly rated recruit coming out of HS. She could be a good little player for Kentucky.

Ranked #4 in 2017 class behind Rellah Boothe, Megan Walker and Evina Westbrook. Couldn't get off the bench in Texas though. Looked good in HS AA games IIRC.

I try not to judge players too much under the guidance of the Holly's and Ashton's of the world

I'm sure Mitchell will get a lot more out of her

Shania Pellington was on an official last weekend but no idea where. She is another speedy pg and Big12 FOY.

Raoul reporting on a couple of official visits:
  • Stephanie Watts visiting Arizona
  • Taja Cole visiting Kansas State

Watts to Arizona would be one of the most random transfers that I can remember

Indeed. Seems as if Arizona has a major for her Grad degree but if she’s considering them for a better basketball program then that would definitely be random.

Ok... I was thinking that was a possibility... had no idea what her major or intended focus on graduate school was.

I looked at her twitter and saw some Texas A&M, Pitt, and Rutgers.

They will be much improved next season. McDonald is the real deal, Reese is very talented too.

I concur. McDonald and Reese are very good and Arizona started getting some good fan support this year as well. A plus for them next year would be finishing in the top half of the PAC and making the tourney. I still think Watts would be better suited at a program with national title hopes. She could have an Anriel Howard/Chloe Jackson impact IMO.

I’m a little surprised by Taja Cole visiting KSU. That doesn’t seem like much of an upgrade over her current situation.
