I cannot imagine Radwanska having a chance at beating Serena.

Apparently you'd' need a confluence of events to dovetale for Rawanska.
A..Sereana feels too much guilt to water down her older sister's accomplishment of winning 5 Wimbleons.
B..Serena realizes someone should make up for all those Polish jokes over the years.
C..Linespsople demonstrate prejudice vs. full-figure contestants.
D..Too many American victories lead Wimbleon comittee to insist Serena play left-handed.
E..Serena is distracted over the young hottie sitting with her father.

Although stranger things have definitely happen at Wimbledon, I agree that Serena should be a big favorite.

Go Serena !!!

I had a similar sentiment in 2004; And was WRONG!
Later on that year, Serena got severely hosed in the US Open.

The fact that Serena is still a reckonable force in today's ultra competitive tennis climate says much about Ms Williams. There have been comments about how great her serve is and has become. At her age, she is better served not running down too many balls; Make the points quick and relatively easy.

Serena has lost four major finals: once to her sister at the US Open before she was the dominant force she became, once to her sister at Wimbledon in 2008, once to Sharapova (Wimby 2004), and last year to Sam Stosur in the US Open. Still, 13-4 is a pretty stellar finals record. Radwanska at 0-0 is going to have to learn quickly. The problem is that the moment is so huge that an inexperienced finalist often fails to get their teeth into the first set, and then you have to beat Serena two sets in a row, which is a tall order. Sharapova enjoyed the same advantage at the French Open this year against Errani.

Radwanska will be fortunate to win 4 games. I'm going with Serena at 6-1, 6-2.

Radwanska is a player that gets a ton of balls back. Serena will need to be patient and/or make the angles she sees in her head when she's playing. She should play with the confidence that Radwanska doesn't have anything to scare her with other than consistency. The serve should be the difference. I'm going to say 6-4, 7-5.

In the past four matches against Azarenka, Radwanska has won an average of 4.5 games a match. With the way Serena is serving I don't see her faring much better than that against Serena. But Serena does have a way of making things harder than they have to be.

Radwanska cannot win tomorrow's match. Serena can only lose it. Not impossible, but Serena has seemed exceptionally passionate about this tournament. If her serve continues to be dominant, there's almost no way she can lose.

Radwanska is also fighting a cold now. If she is not at her best physically she is really in trouble.

If she feels on some level that it gives her an "excuse" to lose, this is especially true.

Federer wins semi-finals in 4 sets, will go for his 17th major title on Sunday. He must have played great to beat Djokovic so convincingly.

Precision. Joker had no answers for Federer's defense and spectacular serving. I belive Fed won 70%+ of his second serves. He also had 31 winners to 10 unforced errors.

After the match Federer said "I played some fantastic tennis today." He's never one to shy away from praising himself.

And yet he's never wrong.

He's also quick to praise others. Really, he's been about as great an ambassador for a sport as you could dare dream of.

Watching Tsonga at net is as painful as that shot he just took to the junk.

I have never found him one one to brag. With 31 winners, it sounds like an accurate claims. Anything less than fantastic tennis on his part would have gotten Novak into the finals. It sounds as if Roger played a riskier game than usual, which he needs against Novak and Rafa.

He played his game on grass and stepped up more in the key moments. Novak did neither.
