With the near lack of suspense due to the efficient recruiting by the UConn wbb staff this year (how long did the Butler recruiting cycle last - 2 weeks?), I had to shift gears and track the UConn football team's recruiting. There was a lot to worry about, since this was HC Bob Diaco's first recruiting class at UConn, though his predecessor might have left some 2015 players in the bushes.
Yarders began to get nervous after over 100 offers had been made for a prospective reruiting class of 20 or so, and not a single one had been accepted 4 months into the cycle. Then, in a flurry, 11 players committed to the new staff in Storrs, including a few likely future stars.
Now that the crisis appears to have significantly abated, I've decided to just chill from here on and explore the art of making the perfect sloe gin fizz.
