After seeing the team play a really solid game last night, I am convinced that they can win the next 2. However, that is not what the title of this thread pertains to. What I'm convinced of is this: if UConn does not win the next 2, or even if they do and get an early exit in the BET and miss the tourney, they are doing it on purpose. That's right - this team is so mad at the NCAA for screwing with Boatright and all of the APR BS that they are making a conscious choice not win the NCAA Championship. The NCAA clearly does not want them, and the NCAA does not deserve such an awesome champion as UConn. Instead, just to give a big giant / middle finger to the NCAA, this team may just decide to go ahead and win the NIT instead. The NIT hasn't tried to screw with the program, so they are more deserving than the NCAA of such a prestigious champion.
Well, there is my positive spin on the rest of the season. Whatever happens, I've enjoyed watching and I will just continue to enjoy the ride. Go Huskies!
