Ok, feel free to take pot shots based on the subject line, but here's something I found interesting.

I just looked up some NCAA WCBB stats and found this:

#4 in rebounding, 13.4 rpg, Tierra McGowan, Morehead State

#10 in rebounding, 11.6 rpg, Teaira McCowan, Mississippi State

In terms of FG %, there is a tie at #13, .625 shooting. The players tied:

Tierra McGowan, Morehead State, and Teaira McCowan, Mississippi State.

This is like something out of the Twilight Zone, or maybe a DavidinNaples post. ;)

They are distantly unrelated.

Reminds me of Johnny Carson's Tea Time Movie with Carol Wayne :): "Now back to our feature, Martha Raye, Aldo, Ray, Ray Milland and Ray, the Wonder Clam, in "Not So Jolly Holly's Folly."

McCowan's a sophomore? Thought she came in during Stewie's senior year? In the game where we blew them out by 60, I thought it was McCowan that came in to guard Stewie after Vic called timeout with the score 19-2, and Stewie stepped back and knocked down a 23 footer over her.

I think you’re right. Before I posted, I looked up her class and saw something that said sophomore. But the Miss. State roster lists her as a junior. Thus, the 2 players wouldn’t be in the same draft.
