I'm beginning to feel sorry for Mike & Mike

I'm not sure what some of you are looking for to feel validated as a UConn fan? I'm enjoying the championship and the very complimentary things that are being said about the program, its coach and its future.

This would do. "Too many talking heads evaluated UConn on 5 star pedigree, size, strength, coaching experience, etc., and found them lacking something that we presume champions must have. That was wrong. They proved throughout this tournament that they all have character, drive, perseverance, willingness to sacrifice, commitment, discipline, heart, love for each other, and an abundance of all the other intangibles. As they won game after game it was clearer and clearer, but we still missed it. They proved it for all last night. Congratulations to them."
