Here's why: Edsall is a winner. Diaco is not. Period. It doesn't matter who I or anyone else wanted to coach. Edsall is the coach. Get behind him and get over the incident six years ago. Honestly, it never even bothered me to begin with. Here is why Edsall will work. In nine seasons at the full (not transitional) 1-A level, Edsall had a record of 65-46 (roughly 59 winning %). He was 42-15 at home (almost 75 winning %). He only had two losing seasons between 2002 and 2010 and he went 4-8 and 5-6 respectively in those years. He won nine games twice (including a year we didn't play in a bowl), eight games four times, six games once (in a year we didn't get a bowl), and the two stinkers mentioned. Point is this, 2 and 3 win seasons are behind us. 5 and 6 win years will be bad seasons, and 8-9 win years will be normal, with the occasional 10-11 win season due to the AAC being weaker than the BE.
