If there is a poster whose posts you would rather not see, click on that person's handle (screen name). A brief profile will come up with a button (for lack of a better word) that says Ignore. I know some have asked for that feature, well, it appears to have arrived with the software upgrade.

On the old board, you would see that the ignored member posted in a thread. On this board, the posts just disappear with no evidence that the ignored member made a post unless it's the last post in a thread in which case "Ignored Member" appears in that column.

At what point does someone with multiple ignores become an Ignoramus?

That sounds like an old Gallagher bit about arming drivers with old fashioned dart guns. When someone pulled some type of stupid move in traffic you shot them with a rubber dart. When you had five darts on your car a cop pulled you over and gave you a ticket for being an idiot.

How do we "Ignore" the 2-minutes-between-posts annoyance?
I've been told that has been reset to 30 seconds....have you tried it recently?

That is the annihilation feature.

And it looks like, if a person you have on ignore starts a thread, the entire thread disappears. I would prefer seeing the posts in that thread by non-ignored people.

Typical. You post something helpful, explaining how a requested feature works, and the thread devolved into complaints that it works too well.

Kinda like that. I find I'm tempted to read the posts of ignored users if I know they've posted. Akin to watching a train wreck.

Just hypothetically speaking, if someone has 35,000 posts, but no one ever sees them, do they really count? :)
