what would you pick? There's a good amount of complaining going on in the Army thread so here's your chance to say who you want. I'm talking any team for a home and home. Who would you take? I personally would love to see Georgia. They always are rated pretty high and would love to see us play down there. Next in line would be Nebraska (since they are willing to play pretty much anywhere OOC, their fans travel incredibly well, probably best in the nation, and would be much more realistic to get than UGA).

LSU since my wife is a Louisiana native, but we'd have to at least split the series for it to be worth it. I'm sick of her telling me that UConn can't compete with the big boys... ugh!

I like how you think big, but I would be happy keeping our old rivals like RU and Cuse...and add BC and maybe PSU. That is our main recruiting area and it would be beneficial to have a presence in those markets.

USC or Nebraska - I don't see how some are excited about playing Army. Syracuse played USC at Yankee Stadium last year, that's a big time move to me not Army. Also, to think we will come out with a win in that game, think again, we thought we were going to beat "Western Michigan" twice! and failed. I'd rather lose to a USC team in Yankee Stadium than Army which would be embarrassing.

Yeah, I'd love to see the Husky fans faces going to Baton Rouge for a night game. Holy cow, talk about a culture shock. Grew up an LSU fan though, so I'd rather not have to see them play each other. I'd love to see a UConn/Florida St. or UConn/Penn St. home & homes.

Yes, would be nice to have a rotation of RU, Cuse, BC and Penn State on our schedule. I think northeast football would benefit from that.

I like the Georgia suggestion. ND and Michigan are up there too. Somewhere on the list are Rutty and BCU. ;)

Penn State. I would travel to State College to see that game. I'd even go to Gillette stadium for UConn's side of the home and home.

Texas, Oklahoma, and/or Texas A&M. Besides the obvious reasons, it would keep the TX recruiting pipeline growing and, selfishly, it would allow me to attend more Husky football games. :)

Sooner or later Notre Dame will want to even the score with us on the grid iron. That might be another good Gillette stadium game. Screw playing football in a baseball stadium. If everyone is so hell bent on playing football in the preeminent pro sports city on the planet then at least can it be in a pro football stadium and not that dump the Yankees built?

Pre-Sandusky, I would have said Penn State. But I'm taking a stand against that university and won't give them a nickel of my money to go to their stadium (I assume this hypothetical question means home-and-home). I've already been to Notre Dame and Michigan so, selfishly speaking, the next stadiums that I would want to go see a game at would be: LSU, Nebraska, Oregon, Florida, Ohio State, and Wisconsin (probably in that order). From a recruiting/best for the program perspective, I'd like to see a schedule with Rutgers and Boston College on it.

ND
BC (sorry, it just has the potential to take on it's own life as a rivalry)
Penn State
FSU
UGA (or GT) - good road trip.

Penn St would be my first choice. Love Happy Valley and games played there would be a lot of fun.

Ole Miss would be choice two just so I could go to the Grove for gameday and hang out with my brother.

Straight-up curiosity. Would UConn score?

When I think of questions like this, I always think about the teams that are the most overrated high-profile teams. Teams that you have an increased chance to beat but that still can create a national buzz when you beat them. So the first two choices that sprung to mind are:

Notre Dame
Florida State

I would also probably add a Miami to that list, along with Virginia Tech. Perhaps even an Oklahoma State, an Arizona State, or an Oregon State. A team from the SEC is always worth a punch at, like an Arkansas or Ole Miss. All of these teams would serve to help elevate our profile with a win, and I don't believe that beating the aforementioned teams would be all that earth-shattering (hell, we've already beaten ND and South Carolina!)...

Definitely West Virginia, Everytime they came to the rent it was sold out, And I'm mad I never got a chance to make the trip down to Morgantown. Probably my favorite moment at the Rent was following WVU fans back to their cars singing John Denver the whole way, after we won in OT.
