If Baylor had won, it would have provided the "signature win" that their resume is lacking, and would undoubtedly have assured them of a #1 seed. I think UConn would still have been a #1 seed, but would have been 3rd or 4th overall (assuming the loss wasn't a blowout).
If UConn had won, it would without question have been the #1 overall seed, and would have gotten to have Louisville as the #2 in its region, rather than Baylor. Baylor would still have been a #2 seed, but not 8th overall where it would have UConn in its region.
Either way, UConn - Baylor would not have been an Elite 8 game, but would have occurred in the Final Four and most likely as the Championship game. I think both teams would have preferred that outcome.
