How many titles would would have today? We battled, many teams. Pretend, once you make the FF, the games are played like the NBA playoffs. Who would we sweep? Who would have given us trouble between 1999-2014 games?

I firmly believe 4-0 with the only close series being Duke. 4-3 in 1999.

4-0 in 2004. 4-0 in 2011. 4-1 in 2014.

I think UConn would have won all 4 titles. UConn was the best team left in the tournament in all 4 years. 2009 would have been a UNC win, 4 games to 2.

Edit (misread the question):

1999:

UConn 4, Ohio State 1
UConn 4, Duke 3

2004:

UConn 4, Duke 2
Uconn 4, Georgia Tech 0

2011:

UConn 4, Kentucky 2
UConn 4, Butler 1

2014:

UConn 4, Florida 2
UConn 4, Kentucky 1

If the Final 8 was best of 5, UConn would have made the Final Four in 2006 and possibly 1990 too. 1995 would have been a hell of a series.

2006:

UConn 3, School That Shall Not Be Named: 1
UConn 4, Florida 3
UConn 4, UCLA 1

1990:

UConn 3, Duke 2
UConn 4, Arkansas 3
UNLV 4, UConn 0

Nice off season topic. We have to remember that in a best of 7 series several new dynamics come into play. For example the there is not as much pressure as you can live to play another day. Coaches will adjust their strategies as a series progresses. Players will gain/lose confidence.

1999
UConn 4-1 Ohio State
UConn 2-4 Duke (I know I'm going to get killed for this)

2004
UConn 4-3 Duke
UConn 4-0 Georgia Tech

2009
UConn 4-3 Michigan State
UConn 2-4 North Carolina

2011
UConn 4-2 Kentucky
UConn 4-2 Butler

2014
UConn 4-2 Florida
UConn 4-2 Kentucky

this, although we may have lost to Dook in 99 4-3

and 2014 might be more like 4-2 or 4-3

where I disagree

1999: Duke 4-3 or 3-4 (remember, we have a 1-0 lead already)
2004: CT > Duke 4-1
2011: 4-0 over Butler
2014: hard to say with the way we were playing "D". Anywhere from 4-1 to 4-3

I like to think 5. So many players on our 2009 team already had their minds on the NBA by March that the seven game format may have gotten their attention.

Disagree on that assessment of the 2009 team. Those guys didn't mentally check out the way the 2006 team did. They played to their potential and just ran into a hot MSU team in a true road game in the Final Four.

We couldn't call it March Madness anymore

And it would be stupid

SDSU would have beaten us in 2011 then. The higher the altitude, the better they perform.

Thank god Kawhi Leonard got into foul trouble.
