Vanderbilt (Stackhouse and Michael Curry) could probably beat their own team.
Juan Dixon at Coppin State maybe?
Good call.
Just looked into their coaching staff. Not the same talent level as George Mason, but definitely younger with the ability to play a squad of five all 43 and younger:
The little point guard: Director of Basketball Performance Chris Hays. 5'7 165.
- Played three seasons at Slippery Rock. Averaged 3.8p in his final season in the 14-15 season.
The do-everything guard: Head Coach Juan Dixon. 6'3 165.
- 20.4p, 4.6r, 2.9a, 2.6s, 46.9 fg%, 39.7 3p% in his senior year at Maryland (wow, what a season!)
The hustle guard: Assistant Coach Charles Agumagu. 6'0 185
- Was a walk-on at Barry. Minimal PT between the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 season.
Forward: Assistant Head Coach Kent Auslander. 6'6 200.
- Walked-on at Maryland before playing two seasons at Coppin State: 6.6p, 3.1r, 37.3 3p% in the 2018-2019 season.
The big: Associate Head Coach John Auslander. 6'7 220.
- 21 points in 132 career minutes as a walk-on at Maryland. Played between 11-12 and 13-14 seasons.
Much younger than George Mason, but I still think George Mason wins. Do you take George Mason's high-end talent over Coppin State's athleticism, overall size and youth?
