UCONN's football recruiting (and the rest of the AAC) will probably improve once we start paying the full cost of attendance because I could see the MAC, the Sun Belt and possibly some CUSA schools dropping to FCS, ultimately there will be less competition for recruits.
Really ... no NCAA on attendance is enforced. No president is going to willingly go to FCS. The money and budgeting is simply a big loser. Squeaking by on a prayer in FBS is clearly a better strategy. Hoping that the TV mindset dripples some more dollars down the pike to the minor conferences.
