Ice Brady and Ashlynn Shade invited to USA BB U-18 Trials

USA Basketball today announced the 31 players expected to participate in the U18 National Team trials next week in Colorado, As expected, Ice Brady and Ashlynn Shade have been invited. The team will compete in the FIBA Americas Championships in Buenos Aires June 13-19.

The class of 2022 includes Kennedy Basham, Isuneh Brady, KK Bransford, Alyssa Crockett, Kailyn Gilbert, Ashlon Jackson, Londynn Jones, Cotie McMahon, Tonie Morgan, Indya Nivar, Kyla Oldacre, Justine Pissott, Kiki Rice, Sa’Myah Smith, Lazaria Spearman, Grace VanSlooten and Ruby Whitehorn.

From the class of 2023 are Lenee Beaumont, Jasmine Brown, Essence Cody, Audi Crooks, Aalyah Del Rosario, Montaya Dew, Katy Eidle, Janae Kent, Chloe Kitts, Alyssa Latham, S’Mya Nichols, Courtney Ogden, Ashlynn Shade and Sophie Swanson.

Maybe Patterson wasn’t invited because she was on the 3x3 team with Mikayla Williams and Janiah Barker who weren’t invited as well. Not really sure but maybe. Sorry if I misspelled any name. I see KiKi Rice is on the list though.

Blank for all the 2023 kids, including others (Ogden, Crooks, Cody) who've given verbal commitments. Guessing USA BB recognizes signed LOIs and not verbal commitments.

I thought someone posted earlier that Patterson is not eligible because she is too old (turned 18 before January 1).
