depaul is actually....not bad this year. this is a Q2 game.....and closer to being a Q1 game than Q3.

It would be a mistake not to tune in.

We’re definitely a work in progress. The one, two and to a lesser extent the five need development and lack consistency before one could comfortably predict a games outcome. The variability in analytics are in line with the uncertainty of what type of performance we are seeing at these positions.

Throw in a road game after a long period from the last game and anything can happen against DePaul.

I think as this season continues we’re going to start hammering teams and beating the spread handily. Not sure if it’ll happen yet. If we can shut down Depaul’s 3 point shooting which has been their strong suit, we will dominate them. Shutting down their 3 point shooting will also go a long way toward getting our KenPom defense #’s to where they should be. We are not nearly as bad as our defensive numbers and I expect we’ll see a major correction in that 99th defensive rating in the next few weeks.

As it turns out, I think this hiatus turned out to be a big plus for the Athletic Department. It left a hole last week for the FB program to fill and they came through in spades. Let's hope the team doesn't come out too flat this afternoon.
