Geno has complained for years prior to SC about the physicality of the game and how he prefers a more wide open game. He would want to influence the game to be more free-flowing. While Dawn, prior to the Geno comment, she had complained about her team's characterization. She wanted it stopped. I even saw her being interviewed on ESPN and someone mentioned her team's rough-and-tough play as a compliment and she took it as a slap. She wanted to influence to everyone that her team is more than just "rough and tumble." She doesn't want to hear that she only does super-well when she has bigs. That just isn't true. SO she tried to influence that characterization. IMO they are both making comments of their points that they want to influence. They make the one comment then move on.
