um....yeah...really hard to enjoy trolling other teams when the school you follow is not good and they are in a crappy conference.

Do I wish UCONN were in a P5 conference? Well, of course I do? That said, Rutgers and BC have very real issues. Those programs are completely and totally uncompetitive in all major sports. At some point the alumni and fanbase simply won't care anymore. It's not inconceivable that BC will not have a conference win in football and men's hoops in over two years and Rutgers is in just about the same boat. At what point do you simply say we can't compete?

The irony is if UConn and BC were in the same conference they both would benefit from a naturally intense rivalry, which in turn helps recruiting and generates local fan interest. Instead, BC jumped into no-mans land.

BCU has always been in no man's land. Their lone saving grace is they are the best ACC hockey program.
