Here are my questions, seriously:

Who is calling the plays?

Does HCBD call them?

If the OC calls plays does HCBD first have to approve the play and then have it communicated to the team?

We all know who calls Alabama's plays. It's Kiffin - with Saban after the fact offering his critique (haha).

But this is a real question: "Who, and how are UConn offensive plays called and communicate? The length of time for a play to be called and delivered to the team has been suspect for a few years.

Maybe Casey C knows how its done.

I think I know in the past that TJW called all the plays.

I will now watch my beloved Pats knowing that Josh McDaniels calls all plays - with the caviot that at least 2 plays are communicated for each down and Brady has his decision. Please don't confuse this with me inferring that BS should trump any called play, but how the heck does it work at UConn?

Thanks for this question because BD's explanation about play status does not add up. They have coaches at the top of the stadium who know that. Don't they also call the plays? That should have taken 5 seconds max.

I'm asking the same questions.

I'm guessing Verducci sets the offensive game plan with Diaco's input. During the game, I would think Verducci is running the offense, until they get to a key point in the game, then Diaco gets involved which probably slows decision making and creates indecisiveness.

Jeff Jacobs is intrigued as well and said on Joe D/Gresh that he will ask the question tomorrow. Not convinced he'll get an answer but he wants to understand better.

It's a simple question. What is the process for calling and sending in the plays?

Who is involved and does that change based upon the situation?

Who called the stupid 2nd down run?

Never mind the last question.

I'd rather someone ask the following.

At what point did you realize it was actually 2nd down vice 3rd down? How did you find out? What changes in coaching staff responsibilities have been implemented to reduce the chance of this happening again?
