Save for Hawaii, every college is near other colleges that are no more than a few hours drive away. UConn will be easy, all the cities will be easy, but even the more sparse parts of the country, like the Mountain Time Zone has some possibilities.

For example, between Montana, Idaho and Eastern Washington there is a nice six-team cluster that includes Gonzaga, Washington State and four Big Sky teams. There's a nice six-team trapezoid in the southwest that includes Arizona, Arizona State, New Mexico State, New Mexico, Grand Canyon and UTEP. The five northern Utah teams can pair up with Boise State and Idaho State.

No matter the region, there's a nice mix of lower level teams and higher quality teams from either bigger conferences or better mid-major conferences.
