Probably Whaley. Hopefully Sanogo, Cole, or Gaffney. I’d like Whaley to be the 3rd/4th best overall player on the team. That would be awesome.

My prediction is if it’s a guard than we will have a real successful season that is because you really would l8ke the guys with the most touches to be successful.
The one caveat is a big having an Emeka year.
I’ll take either.

I go with RJ. If this happens everyone else will be better. He got adjusted last year and will be ready to make the difference. It will help the freshman ease there way in without pressure. Having Bouk out last year and having to take on more scoring load helped RJ for this year.

Cole.

Shooting & Scoring splits:

First 10 Games:
10.9p, 32.0 2p%, 35.4 3p%
Last 13 Games: 13.0p, 42.5 2p%, 41.5 3p%.

A full year w/ Cole acclimated to Storrs = MVP.

I don't expect his 3p% to stay that high, but if his 2p% remains at 42% and his 3p% hovers around 37% if you combine that w/ his expected possession rate that clocks in to about 15-16 ppg.

If he develops his passing out of a clogged lane to an open shooter who knocks down the 3, even more so.

The season-ending play was not doing so with 5 minutes remaining against Creighton, getting injured on an ill-advised shot, and then everything tumbling downhill from there...just when it looked like things were finally coming together.
