University of Connecticut spokesman Mike Enright said it’s part of the school’s contract with IMG Worldwide, a marketing, branding and talent management agency.“IMG sells the corporate sponsorships. IMG pays us for the rights to our corporate sponsorships,” Enright said. “Our agreement is with their sports marketing division.”He said UConn gets between $7 million and $8 million annually for the deal. In return, companies like Mooyah and Webster Bank can pay to get the official UConn designation. Mooyah is in the midst of an expansion to nearly 70 restaurants around the country.<<
