Given the exorbitant price of all sports gear I tend to be very selective when pulling the trigger.

As my Nika Muhl shirt played a vital role in the run to the championship and is starting to get worse for wear I decided to splurge and get a backup. At the same time I made the decision after all these years to finally get my favorite player's shirt so I've got a Stephanie Dolson on the way. And since I'm throwing money around I made the decision to honor the Hall of Famer and one of my favorite broadcasters and bought a Rebecca Lobo shirt.

Wondering how many people on the BY are going to be sporting new Huskie gear.

Interesting how challenging it is to find these older players' gear. Fingers crossed that the quality for the Dolson and Lobo are at the level of their performance.

Out of curiosity I searched to see if I could find gear for the returning stars for the NAU Lumberjacks Taylor Feldman and Sophie Glancy.

No luck but oddly enough I did find gear for Sophie Glancy's best friend on the team and former high school teammate Audrey Taylor who was probably 9th on the team in minutes played this year. Very weird and I wonder if that's a result of a non-proactive administration here in Flagstaff or if the girls at this level actually have to sign up.

I have been able to obtain a wonderful selection of gear for NAU, Grand Canyon, and ASU at the local thrift stores I don't believe I've paid more than $2 for any of those shirts.

This interesting note was at the very bottom of my order confirmation.

All products are made in the USA and are made to order due to the customizable aspect of NIL and increasing sustainability efforts of not holding stock.

Wonder if that's just marking nonsense or is there something really important about customizable to NIL

Not splurging on any new gear. My Bueckers’ jerseys are now considered throwbacks..vintage. You know…like a Kareem or a Jim Brown jersey. :D I will be wearing them to all games from my couch and in Storrs. ;)

Dolson was my wife’s favorite player as well. Before her dementia became too severe we managed to achieve her bucket list item of a Dolson signed T-shirt.

I was looking at the Championship merchandise on Fanatics and decided on a T-shirt. Then discovered that my size and one size larger were not available. :(
And seeing how it's a Limited Edition Fanatics brand, I am SOL. Double :(.

I bit the bullet and bought 2 National Championship t-shirts from Fanatics. One short sleeve and one long sleeve of the same style.
The last time I bought Championship merchandise was when I bought Championship logo Reebok sneakers and a red Championship polo shirt in October of 2004. Oh, it wasn't Husky merchandise...:)

I'm sticking to the UConn NIL store. My Karaban sweatshirt was very reasonable, and I'm buying a couple of t's soon.

I considered a Caroline Championship t-shirt from the NIL store but put it on the back burner thinking that it isn't a limited edition shirt.
