I have set up a donation for the Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

I know a number of you contributed to the Jim Calhoun gift - please give for a greater cause.

Think of the people displaced and affected by this storm and consider ourselves lucky that scenes like the one from Breezy Point did not happen here in Connecticut.

Folks, if you wish a quick way to donate via your cell phone, please send a text to 9099 with the message reading REDCROSS.
They will send a response asking you to verify your donation which will appear on your cell phone bill. the donation is $10, you are allowed to donate up to $30 a month using this method.

I am one of the more fortunate of the residents of New York never having lost power, although my internet has been sporadic. There are many, many others in NY and NJ for whom the need is astronomically greater.

Anyone heard from ThisJustin? worried.......
