Interesting that Mike asked Newton about playing free and more aggressive. Newton said its about attacking and then he says that its about reading the defense and being on the same page with others. Sometimes it works out and other times he winds up without a plan in no mans land due to pick vs pop action misreads. There's is dependency on others too to get the free play to work.

I liked the honesty about Sanogo & passing out of double teams.

Tristen and other players who drive to the hoop have been more often than not looking to pass to a big until it is too late, and they are then caught in no man's land. We have had plenty of dunks and layups by Adama and Donovan during the season but also have had turnovers and bad shots. Tristen making the choice to attack and going for it as well as Hawk with the slam will help us to win more games as the year winds down. Believe in yourself!
