Great video and a real hats off to the staff getting these kids on board. Wonderful attitudes and showing a lot of maturity. These kids are hungry. Also happy to hear that Isaiah feels that defense is his biggest strength at this point and Nowell echoed that. I think they will shock our opponents with their tenacity and energy.

Not sure if my computer or old age hearing but can't hear what they are saying (except for Hurley).
Not your computer. Mine is new and exactly the same results.

So excited to see this group play together and have so many like minded “UConn” type players that are willing to go through walls for each other and the program. I have to say that I find it humorous that people on here continue to obsess about recruiting and the fact we don’t have any commitments yet. Watching the video and seeing how proud these boys are to represent UConn and play for coach Hurley tells me all I need to know about getting the right players each recruiting cycle.

No issues for me on the sound. Anyone else still having a problem with the sound?

Interesting comments from Hurley about McNeeley's recruitment. He said they really liked McNeeley originally (before the Indiana commitment) but they didn't think they could get him to come to UConn because he is from Texas (and then he committed to Indiana!). Then once he decommitted from Indiana they figured with the 2nd national championship they could make a run at him. Obviously with the 2025 class they're recruiting top level kids from all over so the mentality has definitely changed after the back to backs.

Dom Amore has the quote in his article for tomorrow's paper.

“We saw him the last two summers,” Huskies coach Dan Hurley said. “We should have recruited him earlier; we were just being stupid. We should have just recruited him straight away, then our recruiting would have been done. But we thought, because he was from Texas, it would be hard to get him to come to UConn. But then, I guess because we went back to back, we thought, ‘Okay, we’ve proven ourselves as having the best college basketball program in the country, we should be able to recruit anybody from anywhere.’

“Our plan (after the championship game) was to get an impact player, and Liam was the only available high school player we would have recruited with everything we lost.”
