My heart, my mind is with this program and these players that just lost a brutal game after having an amazing last couple seasons, and for me it's easy.

Sounds like a guy on his way out.

What else would you expect from a coach in his situation? He's just coached his last game with a group of guys he accomplished great things with. This reflects well on his ability to focus and prioritize if anything. It doesn't mean he isn't coming

I think most of his emotions are for the senior class-they started 4 seniors. It's the end of an era of sorts for URI.

I said it before and ill say it again. Id be shocked if HE DOESNT take the Uconn job. I believe that this has been a done deal for a lot longer than any of us thinks. I think its possible that someone at Uconn posed a hypothetical and he hypothetically agreed. I dont think we`ll ever know but i think this is the case.

The biggest tell is that he has said everything except "ill be the coach at URI next year". Hes gone! Most likely coming here.

I'd be upset if Hurley thought about Uconn a lot. What a horrible thing to do to his current kids and what an indicator of his personality.

Good on him for focusing on URI. He's got a few days to figure out the Uconn thing and make a decision.
