HS: Southington/New Britain Moved From Rentschler Field

Cap, any insight as to why? Also, seems like almost every time HS teams are going to play there, it gets moved at the last minute.

probably protecting the field considering it's going to rain all weekend. If the grass is ruined from a HS game, it will be a PR nightmare come the UConn game.

I don't really get this, anyway...don't get playing high school state championship games there either. Sure its a nice stadium but it is a little silly to play in front of 2500 people in a 40,000 seat venue. You wnat to play on a college field, talk to Trinity or Central or somebody.. Actually Trinity's stadium is quite nice and much more appropriate for a high school game in terms of size. Probably much cheaper to rent and operate too.
