Watching basketball games sheds light on players performances, whether measured by statistics or not. How would you characterize or define a major contributor on a basketball team?
Do you use specific statistics such as Player Efficiency Rating or Shooting Percentage? Do you base it on what you see during games? Both? Anything else?
For a player who has not yet played in the NCAA or in the WNBA, how do you determine if that player would be a major contributor in their first season at either level?
This is my first post. Hope this was not covered in a previous post this season. Thanks.
