Nothing surprises me with Teddy Valentine, but why didn't one of the other refs call a technical? I've never seen anything that bad not called a T and it wasn't an end of game situation that the refs swallow their whistles. Just annoys me that Ollie got thrown out for a lot less.

Restrained by players and coaches. Almost ushered into the tunnel and nothing. Odd. Have to say though, I'd be pissed if a ref stepped into Ollie's face like that but it worked out for them because you can't T him up after that.

Valentine got in his face right away which an official should never do. He realized he screwed up so he gave Cronin some leeway. The more Cronin kept going begging for a T and I think Valentine didn't want to give him the satisfaction.

Well that's all well and good for Valentine to look like the bigger man in the pissing match, and I'm glad it didn't affect the outcome, but at the time it cost us at least two foul shots, if not four and the ball. KO got thrown out in 1/10th the time for 1/10th the crime. And Cronin got a ton of leeway and breaks even after that. I think he owned this crew. Masterful for him for sure, but embarrassing to them imo.
