Can a mod pin this to top? Please and thank you.

Click “Share Link” Button on a twitter post.
Click “Copy Link” on next screen.
Paste link into a thread comment/reply.
Manually change x.com to twitter.com in the link.
Note: you can only post up to 2 links in one comment.

There will likely be a fix with the next xenforo update. Won't mean much as long as musk keeps tinkering with his newest toy. He's said he sees little to no benefit in allowing tweets to be embedded in other sites. Paraphrasing, "people should be visiting X."

I didn’t realize this. I am going to short Tsla on Monday out of spite! I’ll show him.

I wish I had the foresight to turn off automatic app updates before the switch.

It will always be Twitter and tweets to me.

I think if you cut and paste from a browser it'll work, for now.

I don’t understand how X can’t figure out embedding their posts properly.

That actually changed fairly recently, at least for me.

Long form from x.com:
1. click the three dots
2. select "embed"
3. copy code
4. paste code to BY
5. delete everything from the " after a href= to the " before the date

Without deleting code:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The flip side for Dan Hurley: Why mess with happy? Why mess with cloud nine? He can enter the same fold as John Wooden. UConn is one of the best jobs in the sport with an outstanding fanbase/support/brand. Going to the NBA does involve a culture shock. Why mess with happiness?</p>&mdash; John Fanta (@John_Fanta) <a href="">June 6, 2024</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

After deleting code:

This site is the extent of my social media exposure

This site is considered social media? Right? I'm not really sure

To be fair to Musk, he does have an active interest in making you visit the site.

Poor Fanta. If Dan Hurley leaves he will have to be atop the list of wellness checks for a couple weeks at least. lol!
