How are we the only Big East team left standing on the outside looking in?

We're the most successful program in Big East basketball history. Period.

Since our football upgrade, we've been just as successful as the teams taken over us (except West Virginia).

Our university is rated in the Top 20 for public institutions in America.

We deliver the 30th ranked media market in America and have some impact in NYC and the rest of New England.

I don't understand it. I 100% unequivocally don't understand how after all we accomplished we are going to be left in the cold.

How has our leadership been so utterly and completely inept that we are about to become completely irrelevant in collegiate athletics despite everything that we have going for us?

Building a football stadium off campus just big enough in size
Not looking to expand it
Hathaway not paying attention to the BB APR
Dragging our feet on a BB practice facility
After BB NC, FB BCS bowl, baseball regional hire PP as football coach and Manuel as AD
Giving Ollie a 7 month contract

Unfortunately when things were on the upswing the strategic moves were all wrong. The absolute silence from the president and AD is mind boggling. Unless there are discussions ongoing with the B1G right now I don't know how Herbst and Manuel justify the silence.
