How many slots to fill in 2016

I'm sure it is buried in these threads, but how many slots/ships will go to Class of 2016? This is before injuries/people leaving the team. Not sure how many 5th years will be asked back after season too. Anyone have the number on top of their head?

Not a ton of seniors... sense batted around elsewhere is baker's dozen + ? plus a few (12-16?).

I have 11 Seniors and 2 open slots for a total of 13, as of today...

I counted the same amount of scholarship seniors and I'll take your word on the 2 open slots. Then there are (by my count) 16 scholarship redshirt Juniors. Never know who will return for their 5th year but generally speaking we can probably guess a couple won't be back. Factor in the generally inevitable departures from injuries or transfers and we're probably looking at 16-18 if I had to guess.

UConn isn't rushing the recruiting process this year. Huskies, due to another small sr. class, are looking at about 13 slots open.

So, the Huskies don't have any one need either. They need almost one of everything, but numbers are good for the future.

This I think is very important for depth purposes in the coming years. Definitely a good sign.
