That's the real question. We can't hire someone until the Ollie situation is more or less resolved, right? He's technically suspended with pay, currently.

How long until this is resolved? Days? Weeks? Months?

The longer it drags on, the worse it is for the program/University.

You are correct. Ollie is out, he will not be our coach any longer. There is nothing in Ollies contract that guarantees him the job as head coach. The only thing in question is his payout. They could hire a coach tonight if they want. Would not impact the contract in any way.
