What magic formula and websites do you use to pick your NCAA March Madness Brackets?

I mostly use Kenpom and a few other analytics. I usually win my work bracket. 4 years in a row I think? I'm not that great at it, everyone else just sucks

I pick the team with the best combination of experience and talent from the KenPom top 10. In larger pools, I use pick%'s to pick the team that fits that criteria with the least buzz. Because of their embarrassing loss the year before, Virginia had very little action so I won a couple pools with the last tournament.

I always check the spreads.

I like teams with upperclassmen.

I like to fade the public.

I like to enter pools with multiple entries so I can differentiate a little.

I don’t pick tons of big upsets, if any at all. Chalk usually wins.

I’m not too far off this. It’s about finding the 10-12 seed that will make the sweet sixteen, and finding the 5-7 seed that is going to lose their first game. Then, if you predict and call a UConn ‘ship, you’ll win the whole thing

I check the spreads first and usually pick 2-3 upsets in the 11-14 range. I usually go with a team that has more seniors or a high 3 point %. After the first round I may carry one of those high seeds to the second weekend if they are playing a lower seed team without a lot of March experience. Once to the sweet 16 I go with the “more seniors/ high 3 point %” again out of who is left

One year I did a 2nd bracket and decided to just use Kenpom rankings to pick the winner of every game. That bracket was almost last in our pool.

yeah I don't pick straight up. I'll use the eye test for teams I've seen play and I look other places too. My bracket is usually decent but I only really win because there are only 2-3 other people out of about 25 who do a good job.

I mean u kno there’s always one screwed up region with all upsets. U got a 1 out of 4 shot. I don’t care where UConn lands but the only thing I don’t wanna see is them have to play Baylor or zags. So let’s play our way off that 8/9 seed line down to a 7/6

I’ve tried to five three “experts” pick brackets and use the 2/3 consensus. That doesn’t work we’ll either ?

I let my gf pick. She usually picks on team mascots and uniform colors. And beats all of you.
That’s fine for a 5.00 pool.

I knew a guy in a pool with 12 entries. 100 an entry. 1st place got 1200. All 12 went to a steakhouse dinner after and #12 got the food tab, #11 got the bar tab.

Not sure you’d let her pick there.

I play against my wife and teenage daughters. Bone of them care about basketball. We’ve been doing this years. I should beat them every year but I don’t.
